Bell Schedule

Adult staff is on duty at 8:25 am to supervise students. Please do not drop of students before this time. Students should be on campus no later than 8:45 am. 

Instructional Hours

Monday - Friday 8:40 am - 4:10 pm

Free breakfast and lunch for all students.

Weather Delay Schedule

Days with severe weather conditions the following schedule is in effect:

  • Arrival - 10:40 am (No breakfast will be served)
  • Dismissal - 4:10 pm

Tardy Policy

School begins promptly each day. Students are considered tardy if they arrive after the official tardy bell at 8:40 am.

When a student is tardy:

  • Students arriving after the start of school must check in through the front office. Office staff will record the tardy.
  • Students will be provided breakfast before going to class. Being tardy will not prevent a student from receiving breakfast.
  • After receiving breakfast, students should report directly to class and join instruction with as little disruption as possible.
  • Teachers should welcome students into class and should not send students back to the office because of a tardy.

Repeated Tardies

Our goal is to partner with families to improve on-time attendance and ensure students receive as much instructional time as possible.

  • 3 tardies: Teacher communicates with the family and provides a reminder about the importance of arriving on time.
  • 5 tardies: Office contacts the family to discuss the attendance concern.
  • Continued/excessive tardies: Administration will contact the family to identify barriers and develop a plan for improving on-time attendance.

Ongoing patterns may be addressed through the district attendance process when appropriate.

Our priority is always to get students fed, welcomed, and into learning. Tardiness should be addressed with the adults responsible for getting students to school, not through consequences that punish the student.
